Update after docs apt...

For the most part it was a good visit. It started off scary because when the nurse had the heart doppler on my belly listening to the babies her eyes were getting big because they were both beating very fast. Baby A was around 190 and Baby B was around 185. She went and talked to the doctor and he told her to put me on my side and hook me up the monitor. Once I flipped on my side both heartbeats dropped to normal. It was scary because I keep reading about baby's in dis-stress and I just knew that was what was wrong. But both are fine thank goodness. I asked him what they weighed and he said around 4-5 pounds. I am hoping he does an ultrasound next week and finds out for sure.

We are now keeping a close eye on me so I don't develop preeclampsia also known as toxemia. My blood pressure was 184/91 which is very high for me! But my feet/hands/face aren't swollen (yet!) so I am watching my salt intake from here on out. I honestly don't think I can drink much more water. I drink so much now!

I have gained 27 pounds total now. I gained 3 since my last appt. This makes me happy because you read about the woman that gain 40 and 60 so I think I am doing really good for twins!

I will see the doc again on Monday and we are really hoping my body makes it to 36 weeks and if I do we will let nature take it's course.

So there is an update on me... I won't be updating again until Monday, because it hurts to type (because I sit up) so if you want to chat...call me. Bed rest is now more important than ever now!

OH YEA the babyshower was a HUGE EVENT!!!! 35 PEOPLE WERE HERE! And the girls got a ton of things!!! Pictures to come after they are here so I can scan them in. :)
