July 6th marked the girls 9 month old birthday.
I have been meaning to sit down and write a entry, but life has been on the busy side!
2 weeks ago Hannah had a rash over her body, it was very noticeable on a Thursday and by Sunday it was almost gone. Monday morning it was back again and almost worse. So we finally decided to take her to the doctor to find out what exactly this rash was. We were pretty sure it was an allergic reaction to something, but we wanted a Dr's opinion. Sure enough that is what she diagnosed... They call it hives but it's because of something she was eating/drinking or something we changed. So I thought about it and thought about it... I kept thinking it was due to changing the scents of my bounce but after thinking about it I know I have changed it before and since they are 9 months old I am thinking we would have seen something before. A very long story short- Jack figured it out- He remembered his mom giving the girls Juice when were out there for the fourth of July party. He called and confirmed - she stopped giving the juice and the hives went away! The juice she was giving them was Bug Juice- From what I have read it has just about every juice in it (she was watering it down, but I guess that didn't matter to little Hannah) Jack also figured out why Gracie use to cry all the time (when she was just a little bitty thing) Because she was cold!!!! He is such a smart daddy!
I know the girls will ask this some day so I am putting it up in writing for them:
Hannah you were the first to:
Crawl
Stand
Pull yourself up
First to get teeth
Gracie you were the first to:
Chatter (Da Da)
Roll over (which you did very EARLY and then did not do it again for a long time)
Scream (like a cheerleader would)
I am going to continue to edit this post because I
KNOW I am missing a lot so I need to ask Grandma's what they remember since they are with the girls during the week much more than I am. (How sad is that!)
We go to the doctor Friday so I will post weight and heights then!
Take Care!
