Birthday Party Success!

The girls had a WONDERFUL 1st birthday party! They had a ton of fun! They started off the day playing in the new toy that Grandma Joye got them! Which is a HUGE bouncy toy that blows up outside and they can get in and jump. They loved it!

Family and friends arrived and we started with the cake first. I knew that one of them would end up sleeping before the party or during and sure enough Hannah was asleep before the party started. We ended up waking her up for the cake she was very cranky! Once we got the girls in their high chairs I presented the Minnie Mouse cakes to them. Gracie looked at it for a few seconds and stuck her hands right in. Hannah on the other hand CRIED! No she SCREAMED! When we sang happy birthday to them I think that freaked Hannah out. Gracie keep eating her icing and Hannah needed help digging into her icing and cake. I have a cute picture of her sticking her index finger in the cake. It's like she was "trying" it to see what it felt like. TOO CUTE!

The presents! OH MY GOSH They went ON FOREVER! I honestly am VERY, VERRY, VERY thankful of all the wonderful clothes the girls received. I am overwhelmed with the cute and stylish outfits they received. I am not "hip" at all and my kids are going to be VERY hip! I can not wait to take all the pictures in the adorable outfits!

I saved one present for them on their ACTUAL birthday because I wanted to be sure they had something to open.

Well that's a wrap... And their actual birthday is right around the corner! It's still hard to believe they will be ONE! It's been a wonderful first year!
