Could it be?

My bed has been child free for the past 2 nights and even though my husband is miserable I think it's WONDERFUL! (Sorry honey) I just love not having a little girls foot in my back or side. I am not going to try and lie- I LOVED when they both slept with us when they were much smaller but as they get bigger they need more room too!

So thanks to Mamaw Kathy- we are now working on night 3 of sleeping in our own "big girl" beds! And they love it! I actually have miss "g" getting in the bed on her own and going to sleep! miss "h" is going to be a lot HARDER! She still thinks she can sleep in her daddy's bed. But once she is in her own bed she stays there all night.

We have decided to have 2 birthday party's this year so the girls do not have to choose which set of family members - they spend 3-4 days a week with one mamaw/papaw and the other set they don't see but maybe every 2 weeks or so. So to be fair to EVERYONE it's two parties- sure it will be work for me but I don't care... It's all about my chicks!

I was very surprised when we put their winter pj's on tonight from LAST year! They fit so good! It's FREEZING here where we live so they are wearing the good old foot pj's (which they love)

Miss "g" is going through this cow boot thing right now- She wants a pair of cow girl boots BAD! I found some at Kmart last week and was going to buy them but she told her me Papaw was buying them for her! Needless to say he hasn't gotten them yet and I keep hearing cow boots over and over and over!

Miss "h" has begun her terrible twos (I think) she is very much into smacking people (mom, mamaw's and sissy) in the FACE!!!! She is a horrible monster! I KNEW the time would come when I would say to myself and God - please give me my two month old baby back so she can't be mean or talk back! The bad thing is -this is just the START I have the teenage years which I am sure will be much, much, much worse!

We want to send HUGS out to Aunt Beth, Uncle Mike and cousin Emma tonight- they lost their Grandma/Great-Grandma today. She was such a special woman and would make you laugh when ever she was around. We are thinking about you all and send big ((((HUGS!)))) LOVE YOU all!

Well I think this is the longest post I have done in a long time- believe it or not the girls are sitting right with me playing with fake flowers and marbles but I keep hearing the marbles fall out of the vase so I better get them out of their hands before something breaks! (BAD MOM) :)
