Date Night?

The girls spent the night with their Mamaw Joye last night- they didn't want to stay but I thought it was good for Jack and I to have a night alone and for them to spend the night with their grandparents... We had to sneak out - and after they came back into the kitchen they both broke down crying for us. (that made me feel horrible but when I called out there 10 minutes after I left they both were playing and laughing so I know they were fine)

So no kids- what should we do? We did the dinner thing- we tried a new place about 10 minutes from our house! OMG it was soooo good! It's a BBQ joint... I highly recommend it!

So what do we do now? Let's see what time a movie starts - Jack runs in and checks... next viewing 10:00! He says there is NO way you will be awake then! And guess what? He was RIGHT! :)

We came home- I had a horrible headache (I have been soda free for 4 days now so I am guessing that has something to do with it) so I just wanted to lay down and take some meds. I was watching a show and I remember looking at the clock and it was 8:34... next thing I know it's 2:00AM! So much for a date huh?

Of course once I got up at 2:00 I had a 2nd wind- so I cleaned the girls play room- sprayed the room down since they have been sick and then got caught up on my favorite TV show in bed!

It was a weird night but nice with the girls... and this morning has been relaxing... I love the girls to death- but not having to listen to them bicker and seeing my house clean is nice... however I am ready for them to come home... only 2 more hours and I go and pick them up :)
