Sorry I haven't updated in a long time. I feel like I have neglected this site lately. I should be writing daily because the girls say and do the CUTEST things! But I honestly don't remember the things once I sit down on the computer. And to find the time when I am home with the girls to sit on the computer is next to impossible!
They are both doing really well. Miss Gracie has still been 100% healthy since the tubes! And Hannah has been 100% healthy as well. I still find it VERY interesting that they use to be sick together ALL THE TIME! Now post tubes- NOT one of them has been sick... My thinking is- it just goes to show that twins do have "some sort" of bond. :) (Jack thinks I am crazy)
We are still doing GREAT with the potty training... There was a span of 4-5 days that Gracie really worried me. She was just peeing anywhere! I was shocked because she was one that NEVER even had a accident at night so WHY was she doing this? We still aren't sure what it was about- but once we "threaten" to give her Jeep away it stopped and she hasn't done it since! Hannah went through a period where she stopped waking us up at night so she was having accidents- but that has recently stopped as well. Warning for those of you that don't have your kids trained yet- OH MY GOSH the public thing is KILLING me! They BOTH want to check out EVERY public bathroom! When we go somewhere they will ask, "Mom does the mall have a bathroom we can use." It doesn't matter where we go they want to know! And I would say 98% of the time they will go (or force themselves to go) but it's SO annoying! You know your a mom when your carrying Toilet covers in your purse and a roll of Charmin to go!!!!
OK now for a cute Hannah story-
Jack needed to go check on a rental that some tenants moved out of last night. Hannah was still up so he took her with him. They are going through the house and they get to the bathroom- She says, "Daddy look at that neat toilet seat it's WOOD!!!! (with excitement in her voice) of course she HAS TO GO POTTY! ;)
Today the three of them go there together because they had to show it to possible new tenants- Well as they are going in Hannah says to Gracie, "Sissy you have to see the cool toilet it's WOOD!" And of course Gracie has to go potty once in there! Jack KNEW this would happen so he had brought a roll of toilet paper along :) He said to hear Hannah get so excited about a WOOD seat was priceless! :) Times like that are when I wish they wore a microphone all the time!
One more cute thing- If you ask the girls why Daddy is buying houses they will tell you so Mommy can stay home with us! :) We drove by a house that we should be closing on soon and Hannah said, "mom dad is buying ANOTHER house so you can stay home with me." AH..... if ONLY I could... kids are SO expensive! I can remember thinking OH I can't wait until they are done with formula because we will have all kinds of money- DID NOT HAPPEN- and then I thought the same thing about diapers- And I STILL don't have any extra money... Where does it go? (NO COMMENT JACK) < He will tell you flip flops! :) I am addicted to kids shoes! They are so darn cute!
Girls are with mamaw and papaw this weekend... it's daddy and mommy's 7 year anniversary... WHOO! :) I am not sure I know what to do with this down time... it's weird not breaking up a fight or saying NO one million times! But I MISS them! I love when I get a break but I also feel guilty because I don't see them much during the week.
I love you girlie's...
