Proud Momma

The girls had their first dance recital last Sunday and they made Jack and I both so proud! Of course I *knew* my girls were good dancers but they both surprised us because they did not freak out when they came on stage and seen 500+ people looking at them! ;)
They danced to the song "love bug" by the Jonas Brothers....it was very cute! As a mommy though I felt HORRIBLE for Gracie- her hat would NOT stay up on her head...as I sat there crying for her I was mad at myself for not putting it on prior to that day and letting her "practice." She handled it like a champ she did not let the hat stop her...she would just push it up and keep on going! I was so proud of her! And of course I wanted to SCREAM just THROW it Gracie!!!!! But I couldn't!
OK enough of me babbling...here are a few photos...something is wrong with my scanner so as soon as I figure it out I will post the professional photos which are 1,000 time better!

I hope my little dancers continue because it made me so proud to see them up on stage knowing they were putting their little hearts into the routine...I pray they have their Aunt Bethie in them when it comes to dance because Mommy was NO good and quit! Dance on little princesses....dance on!
