so much to write about so little time...

gosh this blog sucks anymore huh?

my girls will be FIVE tomorrow and I haven't wrote here this year NEAR enough! I have all kinds of things to write about usually but it's just sittign down and doing it that is the hard part for me. I do NOT like to write!

Preschool is going great the girls love going each and everytime! Gracie has made a friend who's name is Riley she is the cutest little red head ever! Hannah is so anti-social (she gets that from her dad for sure!) and she says she never talks to anyone while at school!?!?!?! So I worry about her social skills big time! The made a journal at school about their family and it was just the cutest thing I have ever seen!!!!
Hannah loves me because I pick up their toy room so they do not have to.

Gracie loves me because I love her so much!

Hannah loves daddy because he "gave" us his room. (he use to sleep in our spare room because while the girls were sleeping with us he wasn't getting good sleep and well since he works he slept there)

Gracie loves daddy because he gives her money :)

Now lets talk about sleeping habits... Drum roll please...............

The girls are FINALLY in their own beds!!! Yes re-read that again! You read it correctly own beds and own room!!!!! Pure BLISS in my room now ;) LOL

I am not sure what made her do it but Gracie started it...well wait I do know what started it... we are having our house (inside) all re-painted. And we told the girls we would let them pick the colors for their room if they would start sleeping in the room. I also think going to preschool has done it for Gracie- she started sleeping in her own bed right before preschool started. I can't help but wonder if she cought on to us saying, "what will the other kids say if they find out your sleeping with mommy and daddy?" Hannah struggled for the first few days but has been there with Gracie A LOT! She went through a few days last week where she would keep coming into our bed because "something" hurt. But she was losing her stars so that quickly stopped because she wants to go to Jumpy's with Gracie! :) (30 stars earns a trip)

Their FIFTH birthday has came and went- wow I am such a horrible blogger huh? I actully do not enjoy writing here but I know I need to keep a record of what they are doing somewhere!!!

They had a Halloween themed birthday party and it was their first "friend" party!
Annie, Baily, Riley, Steven, Chloe, Emma, Gavin, Samantha, Kia, Marissa where all their friends that came. They had a BLAST bobing for apples, playing musical chairs, hitting a pinata with a bat and going on a treasure hunt! It was by far MUCH better than I thought it would be! They also decorated pumpkins and OH MY I let them use glitter and it was EVERYWHERE!!! It was weird because the last 4 years prior it has been 80-90 degrees on their party day this year it was HORRIBLE weather I think the high was a whopping 56 or something crazy!!! And it was windy so we did the pumpkins inside on the sun porch and it was a mess after it was over!

But I honestly think the girls had a blast and that is all that matters!!! :) There ended up bing a "sleep over" after the party that wasn't really planned but it was fun... :)

So I started writing this entry back on 10/6 and it's now 10/19 and I still haven't posted it... can you say horrible!

The girls have their 5 year check up tomorrow morning and they are getting shots :( I HATE that I have to deal with that all by myself and I hate knowing they are getting them and not telling them! But I don't want Hannah to worry about it and I think they will do much better if it's just happens without them knowning before hand.

Five years have flown by and I just know the rest will go faster...it makes me sad but I can some what understand why grandparents have such a love for their grandchildren ;)
