School Day Notes

8/23/2010-
Grace- You cried again when mommy dropped you off. :( I think you are very nervous about school starting.

Hannah- You were happy today and gave me NO trouble when I woke you up. This is a first in a long time!

I love you girlies!

P.S. Grace I called Miss Monica when I got to work and she said you were just fine! ;)

8/24/2010-
Today was MUCH better Gracie you hardly cried at all! You took your blanket to daycare and put the corner out of the top so you are able to "sniff" it all day if you want. Hannah you were all excited to show mommy your new room until we got there and 3 Piqua Cops were there. I think that scared you. Come to find out there was a child that came into the daycare and no one knew him. (You girls came home and told me the whole story.) Hopefully tomorrow you will be better. Today is the KLT testing for both of you I am so sad I can not take you but I know you will do just fine with Daddy.

8/25/2010-
Today was great for you both at drop off. Gracie you started to tear up but got yourself together and did just fine. You also had your blankie with you again. It also helped that when we got to daycare the bigger kids were getting lined up so they could be bussed to school. There was a lot of commotion going on so you did not have time to get upset. I left you both on the kindergarten mat watching a movie. You both were VERY HARD to get up and get going... you didn't want to wake up!

Momma loves you like crazy!

8/26/2010-
Your 1st day of Kindergarten - How did 5 years pass by so quickly! Mommy took the day off because I was NOT going to miss any of this! I am SO GLAD I did! I took you to daycare so you could ride the bus with your daycare friends to the school. I than drove to the school so I could watch you get off the bus. You look so grown up to mommy walking in the school. I didn't cry like I thought I would but I was smiling ear to ear with pride that you both belong to me! I captured some really cute photos of you both this morning your just adorable!

I was at the daycare when you got off the bus and could not WAIT to hear how your first day went. You both LOVED it!! Gracie- you told me that you weren't there long enough and that you loved Mrs. Scott. Hannah- you liked Miss Rindler as well and told me that someone already had to move their car to yellow! OH my it's going to be a year for that new teacher! :)

Mommy loves you both and I am so proud of you!

8/27/2010-
Hannah Paige you were a nightmare today! You did not get near enough sleep last night and it showed this morning. You cried and cried and cried because you did not want to wear capris and mommy thought you should because it was chilly out. You finally gave in but I could tell you were NOT happy about it!

Hannah you ate in the cafeteria today for the first time but after Miss Rindler sent a note home about it you say you NEVER want to eat there again. :( Not sure why because it sounds like they have good food choices maybe you are just still shy about it.

I love listening to your stories - everyday someone from your class has got their cars moved... as long as it's not Hannah & Gracie I am HAPPY! ;)
