So it's been one week since we bought the house and I feel like we got some things accomplished but I fear we might not make our June 1 deadline. (That is when we were shooting to move)
We had a current renter that fell on hard times painting because that is what he did for a living and does a good job. But he has quit due to finally getting a job out of town. (so he says)
We have the living room painted so far - and it's not 100% complete yet- the door leading to the sun porch still needs painted. So we are beyond frustrated because we will now have to paint the house ourselves after having an estimate come in for $10,000 for 9 rooms!!!! Yep over $1,000 a room that is just NUTS! Jack did have another person there yesterday to give us another estimate but I am not holding my breath.
We ended up buying a brand new lawn mower vs. trying to find a good used one. He went with a Toro and LOVES it! He mowed the front yard (which faces the road) THREE times. Pretty sure he won't let me mow the grass and I really like to mow!
It took me almost three days to clean the nasty kitchen! I am so mad at myself for not getting photos of the nasty cabinets. But maybe it's a good thing because it could have scared my friends away LOL! It just amazes me how nasty someone would leave a house! I don't care if your losing it! Thank goodness my parents came and helped me Sunday otherwise I am sure I would have been cleaning the darn thing for a week straight!
Grace lost her 2nd bottom tooth finally Monday night - (5/2/2011) and Hannah lost her 1st top tooth on Tuesday night (5/3/2011) so the tooth fairy has been BUSY this week. :)
It has rained here in OHIO for days... I am OVER IT! I want sun and warmth already! :)
I am going to end this and hook up with WILW...
