I have a horrible memory and I feel like if I don’t keep up
with this little blog, that I won’t remember ANYTHING when the girls ask me
about their childhood.
I am not sure where to even start.
Having 2 girls the same age can be
Quite a challenge
But rewarding
At the same time
The girls are now in the 5th grade!
It’s been over a year since I posted anything.
How did they get to the 5th grade you might ask?
They take after their daddy!
I don’t gush about my husband enough.
He is such a smart guy.
(and good looking to boot!)
After many, many tests
It was determined that the girls
Know more than most 5th graders
And that was coming out of the 3rd grade
So we (along with several school faculty members) decided it
Was in the best interest of H&G
To advance them to the 5th grade coming out of 3rd
So it’s the 2014/2015 school year
Oiiiiiii…. I was not prepared mentally I don’t think
My babies don’t “need” me
G gets up and does her own hair most days
H still likes her momma to help
But oh my gosh child – you wear your hair
In a pony every day of your life
You have the worlds prettiest hair
And refuse to wear it down
It drives me batty
G has made a ton of new friends
In this new school year
H not so much – I think she feels
Like she only needs G, Daddy & Mommy
They are getting ready to go
On an overnight field trip
With SCHOOL!! As in they will be gone
For THREE nights!
Not sure what Jack and I will do?!?!
In TWO weeks my girls will be T-E-N
Yes, you read that right
1-0!!!
How?!?!
