It's been awhile...

WOW it's been awhile since I wrote anything about the girlies!

They are both growing like weeds and just a bundle of joy to be around!

They love making a bee-line to the stairs or bathroom if they notice the gates are not up. I wonder what makes a baby like the NASTY toilet! EECKK! My girls love it! Gracie actually put her hands in the water once! I about gagged!
Hannah is much "cleaner" when it comes to putting things in her mouth or touching things. Gracie ALWAYS has something in her mouth! I can not take her outside with out her eating grass or rocks! Hannah could care less! I should be thankful huh? I would probably lose my mind if I had to chase both them around asking what was in their mouths!

I can ask Gracie if she has something in her mouth and she will promptly shake her head no at me. I then say show mommy- and twice now she has actually stuck out her tongue for me to see!

Hannah - ah Hannah- Jack and I both have a "game" with her. I will say give Mommy a kiss so Daddy will get jealous and she will look at Jack and of course he gives her that LOOK and she will shake her head NO at me! It's so cute! And she can tell me no when it's appropriate! It's like she really knows when to say YES and when to say NO! She doesn't know how to shake her head YES quite yet, but she just gives you that look that she means yes. :)

I am now giving the girls baths at the same time which makes my life MUCH easier! I only have to fill the bath tub one time and they play really well together! I was a nervous wreck at first because I was worried I would not be able to dry one while the other played, but I have it down to a science now! I just start draining the water while I am drying/dressing one and then by the time I am ready the water is all gone and she knows it's time to get out. Gracie hates to get out of the tub but she is getting a little better!

I keep reading how other mom's have their baby's on a schedule. What the heck is a schedule? My kids have ME on a schedule! They get up when they want and go to sleep when they want! I guess since I have two it's was just harder in the beginning to get them on any type of sleep schedule so it has just been whenever. Here is a typical day:

Gracie up around 7:30
Hannah up around 9:00
Gracie back down around 10:00
Hannah back down around 10:45-11:00
Naps for about 30 minutes (during the week) around 3-4pm
Bedtime -anywhere between 9:00-12:00am
My kids just DO NOT SLEEP!

Now on the weekends (we play catch up) we have 2-3 hour marathons! Which I love because I can either sleep or catch up on house work!
Gracie is almost always first down and first up and Hannah will be like her daddy- goes to bed late and sleep in! Yes Hannah is still in our bed! We were doing good last week she slept in her bed almost every night and then we let her spend the night with Grandma and it's been a fight ever since! I think Jack did take her to bed last night after she was out and when I woke up today she was still there, but Gracie was in bed with us. I am just thankful we got a bigger bed because now I do not even notice they are in bed with us. I am not sure what I will do when Jack goes back to work... right now he gets up with them during the night once he goes back to work I guess I will be the one getting up with them since he will not be getting much sleep. (he works part of a night shift)

WOW I don't update for a few days and then I write a book! :)
