summer has started

Well the girls are officially done with preschool and will enjoy the summer months gearing up for KINDERGARTEN! :( Breaks my heart that my babies are going into "real" school!

The preschool did an awesome thing for us- they put together a binder of pictures, art work, and writing samples they have done over the last 8 months and I just LOVED it!

I have two funny stories I MUST write down before we forget...

The girls spent the night with my sister last night to help me out (THANK YOU BETH!) and to break up the girls week a little since it was their first full week with no school. So these stories all happened while with her.

Hannah & Emma were driving around in the jeep and Hannah tells Emma, "when we sell our house we are going to sell the bat with it!" (now for the story behind the bat- we have had 3 bats IN OUR HOUSE over the course of living there- and this last bat we believe was in our house for 2 days straight!!!! Jack thought he got it out but the next day it was back! We all are scared to DEATH of these nasty things! So we freak out when we see them...we actually had to have a family friend come over with his fishing net and get this one out! And I should say that we have been talking about moving a lot lately and Sunday we had found a house I LOVED and was ready to move into that day so Hannah is thinking we are moving like tomorrow ;) )

They were sitting at Beth's table eating lunch and Hannah just says this out of the blue-

H: When Mommy gets fired again I will be Happy!
B: Hannah- WHAT? What do you mean?
H: Because I don't like getting up early and she won't be able to swim with us all summer!

Great my daughter thinks I was FIRED!!! I was NOT fired by any means- my job was ELIMINATED!! Cracked me up though- And of course it breaks my heart that she is thinking ahead and knows I will not be there to swim with them. :( We had so much fun last summer together and I am just glad I was able to stay home with them for the time I did. And I am also very thankful for the job I have now... I LOVE IT! And it's putting us back on the map to buy many more houses! (We have actually bought one already since I have came back!) And hopefully the girls will see someday that by me working it provided for our family! (in good ways)

We have one of the student teachers from their school coming to babysit them and she starts next week. We are VERY excited for that! She is great with the girls and they just love her ;) (her name is Sarah too!)

Until next time...

I cannot believe how big the girls look! They look almost like teenagers! YIKES!! They grow up WAY too fast. =(
